The working principle of hydrocyclone Station for cassava processing line
The basic principle of a hydrocyclone is to separate mixtures with a certain density difference under the action of centrifugal force.
In the cassava processing line, the starch slurry enters the hydrocyclone body through the inlet, when pressure reaches a certain degree, the starch slurry enters the inside of the swirl tube. In the swirl tube, the material rotates at a very high speed, and generate centrifugal force.
In the cassava processing line, due to the difference of relative density of each compositions, the starch which is a component with larger relative density obtain larger centrifugal force, was moving along the spiral into the cone wall and falling out from the bottom outlet; While low-density components like small fiber, protein and cell has smaller centrifugal force, move in the reverse direction and form an upward-moving internal vortex at the center of the axis, which is then discharged by the overflow port, thus achieving the purpose of the separation of components.
